On September 17, 2026, the KPMG China Automotive Industry Summit and the ninth KPMG China Leading Autotech 50 awards ceremony concluded in Shanghai. JDO was invited to attend and accept an award as one of the companies named to this year's Innovation List. The company has now appeared on the KPMG China Leading Autotech 50 list for multiple consecutive years, receiving continued recognition from this established automotive technology program.

Now in its ninth year, the KPMG China Leading Autotech 50 program spans vehicle manufacturing, new energy, intelligent driving, and the automotive component supply chain. It seeks out companies with leading technologies and innovative approaches in key areas. Against a backdrop of China's expanding “AI Plus” policy and the automotive industry's shift from perceptual intelligence toward cognitive capabilities, this year's program reorganized its main categories into Automation and Powertrain Technology, Autonomous Driving Technology, and Digitalization and AI Enablement. It also presented two awards, Leading Technology and Innovation. JDO was selected from among the participating companies for its AI innovation in intelligent cockpits and its technology deployed at scale in production vehicles.

The award reflects JDO's continuing work on what it calls an “automotive AI brain.” At a recent industry event, JDO founder and CEO Yifei Wang said the value of a cockpit Agent lies not in adding another conversational interface, but in understanding user needs through context, timing, and action, then carrying tasks through to completion. Drawing on multimodal perception, world models, short- and long-term memory, and coordination among multiple Agents, JDO is using AI Core, AIOS, AI Agent, and AI Cloud to connect the environment inside and outside the vehicle with vehicle status and user preferences. Its aim is to move navigation, charging and refueling, travel, and lifestyle services from understanding commands to completing tasks.
With more than a decade of work in intelligent cockpit software, JDO has developed its “Canghai” AI model with 10 billion parameters, incorporating hundreds of thousands of hours of real-vehicle interaction data. The model offers multimodal perception, affective computing, and context prediction capabilities, supporting a shift in the intelligent cockpit from a collection of functions toward a “digital neural network.” In January 2026, JDO joined Zhipu AI and China UnionPay to announce a cockpit-native payment Agent. Built on a large-model-plus-agent architecture, it integrates payment functions into the cockpit at the system level, linking service initiation and payment execution in frequent travel use cases such as refueling, charging, and food delivery. JDO's technologies and products are now used by more than 30 leading automakers worldwide and in over 40 million production vehicles. Its business spans more than 140 countries and regions, supporting automakers' transition to more intelligent vehicles through its research, development, and delivery capabilities.
JDO views its inclusion on the Innovation List as recognition of its innovation and growth potential. The company plans to continue investing in research and development, advance its Canghai model in multimodal interaction and context-aware services, and work with automakers and ecosystem partners around the world on the automotive industry's transition toward greater intelligence.
